Trip Bajet ke Korea : Annyeong Busan ! (Day 1)

Hello there! 💫

Harini dah bertarikh 23 November 2018, hari Jumaat. Sudah sebulan 3 minggu berakhirnya trip Korea tapi sekarang baru boleh nak blog pasal trip tu. Mungkin sebab aku tak boleh move on kan so dok bertangguh lah nak menaip. Ditambah lagi dengan baru baru ni aku baru je hadir ke graduation ceremony (yay I'm finally graduated from #degree of medschool) so memang tak dan lah nak menaip hew 👌 So kalau aku rajin, aku akan buat every day post sepanjang dekat Korea. Erkkk 15 hari kottt. tu pun KALAU aku rajin ok? And be noted aku tak letak detail perjalanan, bus no, entrance fee. In case kalau nak tahu boleh comment down below ya?

19 September 2018,

Activities:
Day 1 Korea : Touchdown Busan
  • Touchdown Gimhae International Airport
  • Drop luggage dekat Kimchee Guesthouse @ Bomnaegol Station
  • Taejongdae Park
  • Gwanggali Bridge

KBR - KUL 💨💨

Melepak di FM having supper sementara menunggu nak masuk gate herher

Sedap !!

Ok now dah kena masuk. Time ni kan sikittt lagi dia nak tutup gate international departure tu aharhar

Bila dah masuk dalam flight tu sumpah mengantuk yang tak boleh bawak bincang doh tapi sebab nervous kan first time overseas aeroplane ride, lama pulak tuh. Hampir sejam jugak lah nak boleh tidur tuh. Lampu dia akan tutup lepas beberapa minit. So akhirnya aku pun tertidur, bolehlah agak lena for almost 3 hours.

Taken at 5:36 AM Malaysia Time

Taken at 5:45 Am. Cepat gile kan bertukar!

Ayam kicap je sebenarnya herher. Sedap! Makanan sampai pukul 5:50 AM haha awal nokk terus makan kot. Yang sebelah tu Ainaa's sedap doh nasi lemak Air Asia wajib beli occay!

Disarankan untuk siap2 beli makanan sekali dengan booking, RM15 jer, sebab serious nanti korang lapar so akan jadi tak bertenaga and mood pun tak hado susah pulak kang eherher. Lagipun bila lagi nak try makanan Air Asia kan?

So bila dah touchdown at Gimhae International Airport, pergi bersihkan diri apa semua and top up our T-money card, kitorang pergi drop luggage berkilo kilo tu kat our guesthouse. Dia ada sediakan tempat drop luggage, korang just kena beritahu prior to that so that dia informed ok. Lepastu chow chin cau ke first destination; lama weh nak naik bus pergi ke sini sebab dalam map dia cam agak hujunggg Busan woot.

1. Taejongdae Park
From Nampo station Exit 6 > Take bus no 8/30/66/88
Bus ride about 50 min

Ada cerita di sebalik naik boat ni. This is called as first time first day first place syndrome bagi para pelancong macam kami ye. Dah lah baru sampai lepastu tetiba ada pakcik van ni approaching us ajak ikut package naik van + boat ride macam dalam gambar ni. Actually tak termasuk dalam iti pun tapi sebab first day first time syndrome kan, dengan harga 8900 won/person (sampai skrg mmg ingat harga dia sbb this syndrome HAHA) (tak tahu nilai duit lagi time ni), kitorang pun onz jer ikut package ni.

Bila dah sampai ke jetty nak tunggu boat, kena ambik ticket and tunggu boat datang. Sementara tu boleh beli makanan seagull sebab jap lagi nak bagi diorang makan. Lepstu kitorang naik lah boat ride tu, dia bawak pusing sepanjang tepian pantai tu, Seriously not bad lah walaupun at the first place tu kitorang rasa cam tak caya je risau tak berbaloi kan. But after all lepas naik tu rasa ok je. Dengan orang pasang karaoke old Korean songs nya, other tourist/locals feeding all the seagulls, plus the sea breeze hitting our faces, it feels good doh.

Peace yo!

Lepas dah habis boat ride tu, kitorang jalan kaki ke tujuan asal (Taejongdae Park).
Terpaksa lalu kat seafood place ni and almost tergoda nak makan seafood dia omg cedap doe

Ok sampai pun Taejongdae Park! Kejap je jalan kaki nya tu dari jetty tadi.
Masuk convenience store jap beli Banana Ouyu love.

Btw untuk mengelilingi Taejongdae Park, korang kena naik transport dia ala-ala kereta api tuh. Fee ticket boleh bayar 3000 won/person dekat counter. Beli lah ticket untuk transport tu sesiap then beratur awal-awal sebab dia siapa cepat dia dapat.

Ihsan gambar dari insta story. My first binggrave drink! Price quite mahal here: 1500 won

Suasana dalam 'kereta api' eherher

Sampai! Kejap je weh alah!!

Letak jelah eh gambar tutup mata ni pun. Penat nak pilih gambar daripada beriban tuh hahaha riak pulak

Meogo Sippo Gang Group Whats App nama diberi 😹😹😘

Okay lepas dah habis pergi light house semua tuh, kitorang pun chow balik naik bus nak balik ke guesthouse. Lalu aku pun terpegun dengan bentuk muka bumi di sini. Allahu indah sungguh.

kalau tengok depan mata ni, berkali ganda teruja.

Okay maka kami pun sampai lah ke guesthouse. Sebelum tuh pergi beli nasi instant dekat 7E nearby that. Harga 1 nasi instant = 1000 won. Kalau tengah lapar tunggu nak pengsan tu tak cukup kalau beli 1 aharhar. Convenience store kat sini selalu buat harga promo contoh macam harga youguerte kat bawah ni Buy 2 for 1800 won so quite cheap.

Youguerte!

Di saat diorang kelaparan tu aku sempat ambik gambar sekeping dua. Fuh
Nasi instant ft sambal ikan bilis pedas

2. Gwanggali Beach

#thesquad

Agak jauh jalan kaki haha dasar dah lama tak berjalan kaki kan!

Bila dah sampai, terpegun! Indah sungguh lah~ Romantic also sebab dia letak banyak payung so boleh lepak under it and tidur/sembang lah dengan pasangan masing masing sukahati 😹

Iphone memang tak lawa gambar memalam tapi takpa asal ada kenangan 😻😝😉

So that's the end of our journey for DAY 1 😚😋😍 14 days posts more to go bahahahah seriously If I am rajin enough, ok? Stay tuned

Korea 15 Days Trip : Preparation

Korea Map

Salam and hi my dear readers. It has been 2 days since my flight safely landed to Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 from Jeju International Airport. banyak cerita nak share kat sini. aku akan pecahkan kepada beberapa part, kalau rajin aku cerita semuanya ok? :)

Bila rancang semua ni?
Sebenarnya bukan aku yang first start this plan. aku memang da berhajat ke Korea since 2016 sewaktu awal year 4 lagi (time ni teringin and berangan sangat2 maybe sbb aku memang gila kdrama pun 👀) tapi tak start kumpul duit lagi time ni hehe asal kumpul duit je habisss. lepas tu perasaan tu dibiarkan sehinggalah awal tahun year 5, member aku Ainaa ajak pergi so cukuplah 4 orang, Ainaa Farihah Ailin and aku. Bila dah onz and memang serious pergi, then kitorang book flight ticket KB - KL return tic, KL - Busan, Seoul - Jeju, Jeju - KL. Tapi yang aku pasti bila beli awal ni harga ticket tu murah la. So korang yang dah bertekad nak pergi lepas habis professional exam 2 tu, book je ticket awal2. Janji korang kena pass exam lah hahahah teringat aku haritu perasaan ibarat di medan perang weh, berperang dengan perasaan diri sendiri tu yaampun taknak hadap dah.

Orang kuat dalam trip ni:
Aku nak cakap thanks lagi sekali kat Ainaa and farihah sebab settlekan almost everything untuk trip ni.

Then bila dah masuk final semester which is Semester 10, kitorang bayar duit accomodation, rental wifi etc. Almost everything 1K jugaklah.

Pergi dengan siapa lagi?
So total person dalam trip ni ialah 9 orang. Kitorang 4 orang plus kawan Ainaa and her kawansss total 5 orang. Serious semua sekepala masuk air bersyukur doh dapat member yang deserve my time gini best siaaa

Macam mana boleh decide nak pergi lama sangat? 2 minggu tu?
Sebenarnya, *cough cough* aku and Ainaa plan nak pergi sebulan tapi disebabkan duit pun takde so 2 minggu pun dah jadi 😂. Tapi memang padat dengan aktiviti lah jadinya

Berapa jumlah duit perlu dibawa?
Aku bawak 3K, tu pun dah dapat shopping stokins chopsticks makan streetfood makeups skincares makan The Halal Guys 3 kali repeat, Yang Pang Chicken 2 kali etc. Tambahan pula aku kan stay 2 minggu so aku perlukan 3K plus. Kalau plan stay 1 minggu rasanya below 3K dah cukup ok 😄
Tapi korang kena rajin rajin tengok currency rate. Waktu aku tukar duit tu sehari sebelum pergi, rate yang aku dapat 3.71, manakala member aku tukar awal beberapa bulan sebelum pergi, dia dapat 3.59. Untung dia! So pandai pandai lah korang tukar duit awal yee!

Ok rasanya sampai di situ sahaja dulu.
Till next post!~

Time ni dok sibuk post #throwback dekat instastory sebab
aku nak kosongkan storage je sebenarnya hehehe ;)

Survived Medschool! {Part 1} : Study Week Moments

*cough cough*

Hi and salam dear fellow readers :)

It has been 28 days since the final day we seated for our Professional II Exam which was from 6th - 16th Aug 2018. So how was the feeling huh Hajar? Yep if I were to be reaaaaaally sincere to you, I must say it was a miracle. I still could not believe it tho the fact that I had passed that REALLY BIG exam. huh, survived! (Alhamdulillah) 😆

Fast rewind to few days before exam, shall we?
I wanted to share my feelings and emotions here too so that I can datang here again to remember how was the struggles during the journey.

So we officially ended our 2017/2018 sessions on 28th June, memang betul betul after Paediatric clinical exam both long and short cases.
Untuk long case aku dapat 'A Teenager Who Comes For Regular Monthly Blood Transfusion'. I was almost nearly 100% prepared for this as this is bread and butter which you have to know in and out! 100%!
Untuk short case aku dapat soalan 'A Child with Syndromic Face on a Face Mask'. Upon examination there were many features of Down Syndrome elicited. Yupe he is. Otherwise he needed further assessment to ensure the current diagnosis that time. *** Having clinical examination with Prof W always comforting to the point that I can show my true inner self. Do you know that one of the quality to be a dr, that one should have confidence and reliable?

**
Paediatric posting/department really is such a nice environment to be working in in the future. I have no difficulties in managing small sizes patients compared to the larger one. At least you will need to master in skills to approach child je lar 😅 if you already entered the Surgical or Orthopaedic posting, you will understand my point. Okay takpe we will need to enter housemanship later to know the reality Hajar! :)

Then officially our STUDY WEEKS for 5 weeks duration starts!

...which we started off by creating study group schedules first.
There are 8 people in a group. We listed down ALL POSTINGS we learnt throughout clinical years and fit them appropriately how we wanted in the schedule. For heavy postings such as Internal Medicine, Paediatrics kitorang perlukan about 5 days because too many discussions needed. Memorization, understanding and clinical skills application comes together with the knowledge. Yep. Twasss the objective!

& day by day.. Went to hospital doing clerking in the morning, bought our lunch then going back to hostel only to have a lunch break before we started doing our own notes according to everyday personal task & do a summary regarding the case we clerked that morning. By night semua dah bersedia dengan presentation masing-masing sampailah habis. 😜 Ahhhh its a totally non stop journey (which was craaaaay!) But i did stop sometimes when I am feeling not really well.. Yep do not force yourself too much. If it is too tiring, have a rest. Go cinema watch movies etc. If it is unbearable, have friends to talk too. You will never be alone in this profession, unless you are the person who decided to be alone.

Internal Medicine
Paediatrics
Psychological Medicine
Orthopaedics
Surgery
O&G
ENT
Ophthal
Anaes
and the list goes on

Pls understand the topic entirely.
Finish your CPG. Faham betul betul the management. Dengue, heart failure, ACS, asthma, copd, thalassemia etc. ALL THAT common is common tu lar. Each of them masuk MTF, OBA, PBQ, OSCE 💪💪 I guess I need to stop here for now.

P/s: if any of you have questions on regarding which textbooks/references/students notes are good for final year medical students, I am always available to help and guide you with it ok? Just hit me up ✋😆

Am I ready yet?

Hello assalamualaikum all.

I'm back again after few many weeks. This time around I was about to enter the 4th week of IM posting.

Recently I have been sharing a lot of things regarding #hosurvival issues in my fb and twitter. Personally during this posting, I feel so clueless, inferior and low because I have to keep up with so many things. I'm not genius so I think that I have to compensate it with studying much more

So let's rewind memories to 2 days back, during our on-call case discussion session with Dr WR at campus. In the class, Dr (our lecturer) gave us so many situations in regards to possible cases that will come during our HOship later. [Honestly guys, in year 5 we we trained so hard as a young future houseman to be]

One of the situations is: A patient with lowish blood pressure was brought to Emergency Dept at 3AM. As a HO that was incharged that night, what would you do first? What are the possible causes of it? What should you do first? You will need to inform your senior eventhough it was freaking 3AM, right? Because you wouldn't want your patient collapsed right before your eyes due to your inadequate knowledge... Thus, it is important to think fast being a doctor.

**

Being in the Internal Medicine posting (our second last posting), we as final year students were placed in the ward as the objective of it was we have to get familiarized and  be able to manage patients in the ward during HOship. For the past 3 weeks, we took care patients of our own beds, follow their updates/investigation/management every day so the responsibilities were put on us prior to becoming a future doctor.

I believe that as undergraduate students, we need to be more proactive and hardworking enough to be successful and prove to our lecturers/specialists that we are worth and trusted to be HO under them. Guys, do pray for me ya. This path is hard but I'll find ways to endure it.

That last paper before going to the next pitstop.

Hye missing me ? Pls say yes bcs I miss writing down all the stuffs in my blog so much :*)
Just wanna drop by here for a while before I starting the last revision for Psychological Medicine last paper again.

Hey.
Current feeling is so miserable. It's 3.57AM by the time Im checking on the dashboard clock rn. Do you ever feel like you will be getting anxious and screwed later? Or do u ever expect someone to really understand it? That you are not someone that actually strong eventho your appearance seems yes?

Well. Im at the edge of beyond my overthinking me again.
I hate feeling anxious. This one really is distressing bcs it was not triggered by drinking that caffeine but, nah.
But thanks to my internal and external protective factors, I made it to here, being me. :-&

5 minutes ranting is enough for the mental health. And that + thinking of u.

See you til next post! Kuwby.

"I Am Not Good At Goodbyes" : Leaving O&G T_T

Assalamualaykum.
(I was just having Sushi King Dinner with my housemates prior to blogging this. Hey know whattt? I could not hold myself any longer from not blogging. While it is still fresh inside my mind, here I am again, wanted to share some of my happy (and bitter?😆) stories 😙😊😄

Guys, today marks the end of our 'Obstetric & Gynaecology II posting'. It was really sad tho that we have to finally saying goodbyes to this posting. I could not believe that those 8 weeks of O&G had passed. WTH so fast lehhh. Just like that? T_T Wait a minute.. lemme pause for awhile....

.....
.....

Tbh I did not take this posting seriously during earlier weeks bcz i was kinda not getting any accelerations. It was too bad tho bcz only towards the end of the posting, I finally got my muse, my source of inspiration which is, me myself 😂😌 I finally pick up my strength and confidence somewhere again after having a bit upsides down. (apalah sangat sebenarnya haha)

Its true, being the leader's assistant and also as the leader of my bedsite teaching group itself, it was such a 'clumsy of me' throughout these 8 weeks. However I kinda of trying to pull myself together and keep calm. And to add some more facts, I truly enjoyed and had fun with the guidance and teaching shared by our own 2 lovely, kind-hearted lecturers, some of the HSNZ obstetricians and gynaecologist plus 2 external lecturers. Alhamdulillah I am truly grateful with these opportunities.

But to further in this field, I  need to do some more thinking leh and also after completed my compulsory 4 months duration of O&G posting during HOship. Of course I have to follow both my heart and brain also then only can decide 👸 Ya all need to pray what's the best for me also ehehe (I ady have some list of my next career pathway choice btw 😉)

Ya, I have a lotttt of stories to tell so along with that, I share these photos below to guide my stories. Enjoy!

With To' Puan Dr Maziah, O&G consultant and also our UniSZA vice chancellor's wife 😉 Be noted, she was a former RCOG member ya all. In fact, RCOG is a guideline used worldwide in managing ladies' problems. This picture taken after having Seminar Preterm Labor at Labor Room Priba. (sambil dengar seminar sambil dengar baby menangis 😆)

After BST with her. These r my bst groupmates yo

With Prof Syukri, he is from USM. He was my lecturer's lecturer.. Ok guess his age then :)

With Dr Faridah, HSNZ specialist after presenting cases. Very fun and meaningful session btw!

With Dr Jumizah. 💚

💛 session with Dr Yusmadi. We also had fun Obs Ward Round with him which I totally enjoyed! (walaupun still rasa bodo lagi waktu tu 😸tp thanks dr for your encouraging words!)

🙌🙏

Okay tak boleh blah gambar ni pun nak selitkan gigih sis buat collage okay 😝 During episiotomy wound repair skilled lab session with Prof Anisah!

With Dr Halimatun, after Seminar Recurrent Miscarriage 😍😍

😃

With the onco-gynaecologist Dr Wan Rosmidah 😍 Her BST session also was superb!!! Tq dr

With DR Rohana 😙 will forever remember your encouraging words

After BST with lovely Prof Ma 😇 I m the one presenting, IUGR case 😱 hopefully leh ingat sampai pro

Nilah namanya gigih semua nak masuk cramped dalam lift haha pastu terus suruh snap satu kaleyyy.

Okay cerita pasal exam lak. Week 7 we already had our short case exam. I got gynae case which was a missed miscarriage case. I think I have done my best so pls pray for the best okay!

Meanwhile for long case pula which was on yesterday, I got obs case; Postdate mother who had prolonged pregnancy exceeds her expected delivery date.

And today we had our theory and osce papers. & I think overall it was quite manageable 😜 so I am done sharing few things regarding my 'eventful' O&G life.

See pictures below, taken after finished exam and straight going lunch at Ayam Penyet sedap oiii😂 xx

With both Prof Anisah & Prof Ma 😘
